Why Hockey FUNdamentals

Since 1995

Hockey FUNdamentals Camp teaches skating and hockey skills to boys and girls aged 5–14 at Ted Reeve Community Arena, in Toronto's east end.

Our founder, Mike Howlett, grew up two blocks from the arena, where his father Mel co-founded the Ted Reeve Skating and Hockey School in 1970. Mike started Hockey FUNdamentals Camp there in 1995. Since then, 12,000+ players have learned the fundamentals of the game, good sportsmanship and healthy habits with us.

Teachers first

Our camps are built on good teaching: small groups (6:1 on the ice), patient instruction and plenty of ice time every day. Players are grouped by age and ability, from first-time skaters to A-level players, so everyone is challenged and everyone belongs.
